RIVERTON -- Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies say an 18-month-old boy in Riverton was run over by his uncle Tuesday afternoon.
The child was hit just before 4 p.m. in a driveway leading to a barn behind the house near 2200 West and 11700 South.

Deputies say the boy had gone outside with his grandmother. When she turned her back, the boy crawled under the truck, apparently looking for a toy.
The boy's uncle was unaware that the boy was there and ran over him while attempting to move his truck into the garage.
The child was flown to the Primary Children's Medical Center in extremely critical condition.
