(KSL News) -- Crews responded to a fire at a Salt Lake warehouse today.
The blaze started in an area where workers were shredding and recycling old tires. The shredder malfunctioned, causing the blaze.
Crews worried the flammable tires would cause the fire to spread quickly, but they managed to keep the fire contained.
About a dozen warehouse workers were evacuated from the area but were able to return to work this afternoon.
