(KSL News) Members of the Utah Air National Guard received some very honorable awards for their service overseas.
Lt. Colonel Paul Reutlinger/151st Security Forces Squadron: "These are not awards that they hand out regularly, no they are not."
The 151st Security Force Squadron served for six months in Iraq, providing security on different bases there.
Thirteen of them were honored today at the Salt Lake Air Base headquarters for their sacrifice.
Lt. Colonel Paul Reutlinger/151st Security Forces Squadron: "They did such a good job, came home safe. It doesn't get any better than that."
The awards presented ranged from a Bronze Star to combat patches.
