Utah County -- Utah Highway Patrol headquarters in Utah County is looking more like a pantry these days. Boxes and cans of food line the halls and offices.
Troopers collected all the food during a competition between teams and even held free safety classes in exchange for a few cans.
They had an initial goal of 200 pounds, but ended up with a nearly 1,200 pound donation.
The troopers plan to donate all of it the, Community Action Services Center which will distribute it to the county's needy.
