(KSL News) -- A fire destroyed a Provo duplex, forcing several people from their homes.
Investigators say it started this morning, most likely near the fireplaces in both units.
There was heavy smoke and flames but crews were able to put them out quickly.
Smoke detectors were working so everyone got out okay.
Damage is estimated at more than 40-thousand dollars.
