SALT LAKE CITY -- A teen riding his bike to school took quite a tumble after running into a car.
Salt Lake City police Lt. Gary Layton said, "He ran into the side of the car. One witness reports that the window was open, and he actually went inside the car when he hit the car."
Police say the driver of the car was legally making a left hand turn on a green light and it appears the bicyclist ran a red light.

The teen was transported to the hospital in good condition and is expected to be OK.
Officers say he will likely get a ticket for not obeying traffic signals.
