Cyprus High's is known as the "Home of Scholars and Champions".
- Cyprus High is the only school in the Salt Lake Valley that has an electronic, block-letter "C" on the side of the mountain west of the school.
- We have tremendous community support as shown by usually having more fans at our away games than the home school we are playing.
- Our Spinnaker Drill Team is famous for it's sword routine which has been a tradition for several decades.
- Our baseball team is very competitive each year and is currently ranked 3rd in 4A.
- Our Math and Art Departments are known for their strong and varied programs.
- Our Wall of Fame has plaques shown many well-known Utah citizens who have graduated from Cyprus (e.g. former Governor Bangerter, She-Daisey, and many others).
