(KSL News) -- Aviation officials are in the midst of a search and rescue mission for an aircraft that sent a distress call out of Utah.
The Cessna airplane left from Falcon Field in Arizona last night on its way to Provo. Around 1:15 this morning the Utah Department of Transportation got a report of the distress call.
Crews are looking for a single-engine aircraft with a fixed wing. The tail number is N9179D.
