KSL Newsradio's Randall Jeppeson reportingStudents in Andrew Brace's fifth-grade class have their coats and sweaters close by, but they aren't just for the outside.
First thing in the morning it is cold, "But the custodian has had the portable heaters on before we get here, so it's warming up," said Brace.
The school is under construction and some of the flues were removed, making life a little chilly inside. So the school brought in portable heaters. They were running all night long, and when asked if they're working, the kids in unison responded "yes."
The school has ordered new parts and hopes to have the boilers back up within the next 24 hours.
