SALT LAKE COUNTY -- A Millcreek man has been charged with making counterfeit money.

Randy Lynn Harvey Jr., 32, allegedly made more than $45,000 in fake cash.

On Tuesday, a search warrant was executed on the home near 4000 South and 400 East by the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office SWAT team.

Investigators from several agencies searched the home and found all the makings of a high-tech counterfeit business. They found printers, scanners, linen paper, templates and even shredded counterfeit cash.

A detention hearing is scheduled next week. If convicted he could spend 20 years in prison.
