KSL Newsradio's Randall Jeppeson reportingHave students at Brigham Young University transformed from fit, lean student machines, to bulgy and lazy in just one year? You might think so if you believe the Men's Fitness magazine college health rankings. But how often are students eating fast food?
"Five times, about every lunch," said one male student.
"Two to three times," a female student replied.
"About five times a week, usually lunch," said another male student.
The magazine rankings that dropped BYU from #1 to out of the Top 25 are based on student responses about what they eat, how often they exercise, and the availability of nutritionalists and fitness trainers on campus. BYU administrators say they haven't changed anything from last year. Editors at Men's Fitness have not returned calls to KSL.
