SALT LAKE CITY -- Real Salt Lake announces some new sponsors Thursday.
JetBlue will become the Major League Soccer team's official airline partner. As part of the deal, Rio Tinto Stadium soon will have permanent JetBlue signage.
The Deseret News reports in an e-mail sent to JetBlue workers, the airline called the move a great deal for Utah, as it employs about 2,000 workers from the Salt Lake area.
The sponsorship runs through the 2011 season.
JetBlue is just one of several corporate sponsors to be announced Thursday.
The deals amount to a total of $150,000 annually.
