SALT LAKE CITY -- A Monday afternoon pallet fire did little property damage, but left neighboring businesses upset and frustrated.
The fire started around 1 p.m. near 500 South Fulton St. (3000 West).
Salt Lake City firefighters were able to knock down the fire within 30 minutes.
No damage was done to the four surrounding pallet businesses, but owners expressed their frustration to KSL. One owner says some people are burning trash inside barrels and when the wind picks up it carries the embers and catches these piles of pallets on fire.
Investigators cannot confirm this practice started this particular fire.
