SALT LAKE CITY -- 700 East is closed for the second time in as many days for construction.
UDOT shut the road down from 2100 South to 2700 South at 6:00 this morning to finish installing girders for a new I-80 bridge.
The road will reopen around 8:00 p.m.
Monday, another road is closing. 300 East from 2100 to 2700 South closes starting at 6 a.m. for the same reason both Monday and Tuesday.
However, both 700 East and 300 East will be accessible to local traffic.
