(KSL News) -- The attorney for Salt Lake City says Mayor Rocky Anderson did nothing illegal when he participated in an anti-war rally in August.
Critics of Anderson's actions had claimed the Mayor's office used public money and city equipment for politcally based actions, violating several laws.
After investigating, Ed Rutan said since President Bush is not running for re-election, Mayor Anderson's actions could not be considered as meant to influence voters, and therefore were not illegal.
