(Press Release)SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking a suspect believed to have committed two robberies at 7-Eleven stores in the city.
The suspect is a male white adult, 5'10" and 160 lbs., possibly with blonde hair.
On Feb. 21, at 4:13 a.m., the suspect entered a 7-Eleven store at 515 N. 300 W. He said he had a gun, but one was not seen. After the clerk opened the register and backed away, the suspect took the cash and fled the scene. In this case, the suspect was wearing a blue hoodie, light brown jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes.
On Feb. 26, at 4:43 a.m., the suspect entered a 7-Eleven store at 490 N. Redwood Road, where he brandished a knife. After the clerk opened the register and backed away, the suspect took the cash and fled the scene. Surveillance video of this case is available on our Web site, click here.
In both cases, the suspect walked into store and directly behind the counter to make his demands of the clerks. No getaway vehicle was reported in either incident.
