(KSL News) A driver apparently ran a stop sign this morning, putting her truck in the path of an oncoming train.
It happened at 900 S. 800 West.
The train was not moving at full speed and only hit the back of the truck.
A six-year-old girl was taken to the hospital with a minor mouth injury. No one else was injured.
Police say it's important to use extra caution around trains because it takes them longer to stop.
