This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

With the breakneck pace at which we live our lives, time has become more precious than ever, and as such, should never be wasted. After discovering how widespread time management issues are, Dave Crenshaw created his business, TimeGym, to address them.

In 1998, Dave became a small business coach, working with entrepreneurs and small business owners to help them become more successful. However, he found that many of his clients were so disorganized that they were starved for time. He realized that in order to increase the success of their business, he first needed to help his clients deal with their time issues. He created TimeGym to do just that.

TimeGym helps business owners be more effective and organized with their time. Participants can receive personal assessments from TimeGym coaches and attend training meetings or seminars. After each training, Dave and his coaches provide 21 days of follow up to make sure the principles become a lasting habit. Dave tells me TimeGym has a 94 percent success rate and most participants become raving fans.

All of Dave's experiences in training executives supported a book he wrote called "The Myth of Multi-Tasking." The book has been so well received that it was recently featured in Time Magazine, and the rights have been acquired to translate it into Russian, German, Italian, and Dutch. Dave says this has forced his company to take a more global approach to ensure its principles would apply to anyone in the world.

Dave isn't interested in just giving people a seminar and hoping they will change. Rather, he wants TimeGym to help clients make a lasting improvement by providing personal training and strong accountability. Better time management reduces stress and helps people focus on things that are truly important.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
