(KSL News) A man who apparently was angry over a relationship was arrested after causing quite a scene in a Salt Lake City neighborhood overnight.
Police say it started after 10 p.m. when the man began vandalizing a woman's house near the 1000 west block of Pueblo Street.
Lt. Fred Louis of the Salt Lake City Police Department said, "He threw a brick through a window, kicked in the front door, got in a vehicle, tearing up the front lawn in the vehicle."
When officers arrived, they say the man sped toward them in his vehicle but swerved onto a sidewalk at the last second, then took off. Officers found him again a few blocks away. He got out of his vehicle and ran. A police dog tracked him down and officers arrested him. He was hiding in a garage.
The suspect is identified as Terry Scribner. Officers say he has a history of burglary and assault.
