(KSL News) Immediately following President Obama's speech last night, Dan Jones polled 237 Utahns about the economic stimulus plan and the job the major players are doing.

Only 39 percent of Utahns polled said they favor the Obama-backed economic stimulus package. And 47 percent said they oppose the plan.

But 50 percent thought the economic stimulus plan would be very effective in helping the U.S. economy recover. Forty-one percent said it wouldn't, and 9 percent didn't know.

Senator Orrin Hatch talked about the stimulus plan to Grant & Amanda on Utah's Morning News this morning. To hear the interview, play the audio on this page.
