(KSL News) A collision between a bike and a car sent one man to the hospital in critical condition this morning.
Police say around 6 a.m., the bicyclist was in a crosswalk at 1353 W. Indiana Ave. The driver saw him and stopped. He then proceeded to go when he thought the bicyclist was safely out of the way.

"For some reason the bicyclist turned around. The motorist tried to stop but hit the bicyclist and knocked him down," said Law Jones, the accident investigator.
The bicyclist suffered a severe head injury.
It is unclear if charges will be filed against the driver.
