Roots "Team USA" berets were the fashion rage during the Salt Lake Olympics. People lined up for hours to buy them. So what will be the hot item in Vancouver?
Olympic merchandise includes things like ties, shirts, scarves, and baby clothes. Neesha Hothi of The Bay said, "The three main colors you'll see throughout the 2010 Olympics are green, blue and white."

You can also get lots of red and white items with the maple leaf on them, including official Olympic syrup.
"We are in Vancouver. We are in Canada. Maple syrup is one of those items that is very Canadian," said Hothi.
It comes either in a can or as a pin to wear. "You can't come to Canada and not get maple syrup," she said. This could be Vancouver's green Jell-O pin.

"This one calls out Stanley Park and our totem," she said.
And, of course, you can't leave Canada without a hockey puck.
