(KSL News) -- An interesting twist this morning in the Warren Jeffs case. A former FLDS member has filed a motion wanting Jeffs to get back the money, documents and other items seized when the polygamist leader was arrested.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Shem Fischer is hoping to lay claim to the nearly 68-thousand dollars seized in Jeffs' arrest.
He says the documents seized contain information helpful to settling his monetary judgment from a discrimination suit against Jeffs and the FLDS church.
Fischer alleges he lost his job after he abandoned the FLDS faith.
