Gov. Jon Huntsman is forming an ethics commission and he's picked one of Utah's most high-profile citizens to spearhead the effort.
Larry H. Miller will co-chair the panel, which will focus on democracy and ethics.
The car dealer and owner of the Utah Jazz will join the governor for a formal announcement about that tomorrow afternoon on Capitol Hill.
Kirk Jowers, who directs the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah, will help lead the Governor's Commission on Strengthening Democracy.
Gov. Huntsman has been speaking out about the need for ethics reform in state government and has implemented changes regarding rules within his administration.
He's also talked about the need to increase voter turnout in Utah, which has lagged behind other states and the nation.
