Two men who wore fake beards during their alleged crime spree are now facing federal charges. In a press conference this afternoon, FBI officials said the two face three robbery and weapons charges each.

Documents says Kenneth Sandoval and John Pacheco admitted to a total of eight bank robberies, two attempted robberies and three business robberies.

Police arrested the men after their last alleged hit at Sam's Magazine Store in Murray on Saturday. Owner Sam Walia says both men wore fake beards and went straight for the register, demanding money at gunpoint.

Walia saw the mug shots on the news and realized that Pacheco was a regular customer who had come into the store every weekend for the past three years "I'm glad they put them behind the bars. They might get some other people, and they might have shot somebody," he said.

The FBI says the men were under investigation for some time. When agents arrested them at their Murray home, authorities found clothes matching the description of the suspects' clothes, some bank bags, a wallet belonging to one of the store's owners and a .9-millimeter handgun. On the weapons charges alone, the two face a mandatory sentence of 57 years in federal prison.
