(KSL News) West Valley police arrested a man for allegedly stealing his neighbor's car.
Police say Jesus Soto, 26, stole a car from his apartment complex near 2000 West and 3100 South two days ago. Then late last night, a witness saw him dump the car two blocks away and take off.

Lt. John Coyle of the West Valley Police Department explained, "He just pulled up in the vehicle, got out and took off running. One of the neighbors thought that was suspicious, called us, and (it turns out) the vehicle was stolen."
Police set up a containment area to find the suspect. Search dogs followed him back to his apartment complex, and officers arrested him.
Soto now is in the Salt Lake County jail.
