(KSL News) A Salt Lake City man took drastic steps to flee from attackers this morning.
Police say the man was in his apartment near 300 East and 100 South when two men knocked on the door.
"The two suspects had guns, came into the apartment and were making threats. One of our victims actually jumped from a third-story window to escape," said Lt. Melody Gray, spokeswoman for the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Another person in the apartment was beaten by the suspects and received minor injuries.
The man who jumped from the window was not hurt. He ran to a nearby store to call police.
The suspects were able to get away. Police are now looking into how the suspects and the victims know each other.
