A Utah congressman appears to be one of President Bush's top supporters among Democrats.
Second District Rep. Jim Matheson supported the president's positions 32 percent of the time in 2008, according to Congressional Quarterly. That's the sixth-highest among all House Democrats.
Of course it's low compared to 3rd District Republican Congressman Chris Cannon's 86 percent and Sen. Bob Bennett's 85 percent. The 1st District's Rob Bishop supported the president 78 percent of the time.
Matheson's "party unity" score would suggest he is a moderate. He voted with Democrats 86 percent of the time. That's 12th lowest of all House Democrats.
