SALT LAKE CITY — Eastbound lanes along I-80 are temporarily closed Wednesday afternoon after a truck caught fire in Parleys Canyon on Wednesday.
Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden said a semitruck was fully engulfed in flames. The driver made it out of the truck, Roden said.
Fire crews have closed all lanes on eastbound I-80 until the fire is out.
The Utah Department of Transportation estimates a clearance time of about 5:45 p.m.
