Motorcyclist critically injured in Redwood Road collision

RIVERTON — A man is in critical condition after a motorcycle crashed into a passenger vehicle Wednesday morning in Riverton.

About 9:30 a.m., a vehicle was crossing Redwood Road at 12120 South when it was T-boned by a northbound motorcycle, Riverton Police Sgt. Josh Lee said.

The motorcyclist tried to swerve but was unsuccessful, Lee said. The motorcyclist was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in critical condition.

Traffic on Redwood Road is expected to be closed from 12050 South to 12300 South until about noon while the investigation is completed.
