What's streaming on Disney+ and Hulu in September

SALT LAKE CITY — Nearly 25 years after it debuted in theaters, streaming audiences can check out "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" when new titles hit Disney+ and Hulu in September.

Available on Hulu Sept. 5, the film stars George Clooney, John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson as three convicts who escape from a Mississippi chain gang in search of treasure. Along the way the trio is confronted by "a series of strange characters," according to the IMDb page.

According to IMDb, the movie's score even surpassed the success of the film, selling 5 million copies by early 2001 and winning five Grammys.

Likewise for me, I still go back to the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack when craving some country and Americana sounds. The film is good, but the tunes that form its backdrop are what left an impression on me as a kid.

Other notable entries in September's streaming slate include the new "Lilo & Stitch" and "Only Murders in the Building" Season 5.
