SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Led by Adama Bal's 19 points, the Santa Clara Broncos defeated the Pepperdine Waves 91-80 in the West Coast Conference opener for both teams. The Broncos are now 9-5 on the season, while the Waves fell to 6-8. Stefan Todorovic led Pepperdine with 25 points.
