GREENVILLE, N.C. — Led by Darryl Simmons II's 29 points, the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs defeated the East Carolina Pirates 84-79 on Saturday night. The Runnin' Bulldogs moved to 5-8 with the win and the Pirates dropped to 8-5.
