FARR WEST, Weber County — Troopers have identified the driver killed in a head-on collision Monday morning after he crossed over the center lane and collided with a oncoming vehicle, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

Troopers said a Ford Focus was traveling north on 2000 West in Farr West when the car left its lane and hit an oncoming Subaru Outback. The crash occurred near 1146 North and 2000 West about 4:45 a.m., according to the Department of Transportation.

The driver of the Ford, identified as 28-year-old Lee Underwood, of Farr West, was not wearing a seat belt and was killed in the crash, according to troopers. The driver of the Subaru was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
