PARIS — Novak Djokovic thinks perhaps the rules for Olympics tennis should be changed so a doubles player wouldn't end up in the singles competition. That's what happened Saturday at the Paris Games, when Djokovic won 6-0, 6-1 in less than an hour against Matthew Ebden of Australia. Ebden was so excited just to claim one game that he celebrated by pulling the bottom of his shirt over his head, baring his chest. Djokovic is a 24-time Grand Slam champion who has spent more weeks ranked No. 1 than anyone in tennis history. Ebden hasn't even had a singles ranking since he was No. 970 the week of May 29, 2023.
