SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Although it's the last day of summer -- it looks more like winter as Utah is hit with cold temperatures, rain and snow.
The National Weather Service has issued a snow advisory for the mountains along the Wasatch Front, the Uinta mountains and Book Cliffs. The advisory will remain in effect until four p-m.
N-W-S meteorologists say Utah is also experiencing cold temperatures. In fact, they say it's well below normal statewide. For example, it's almost 25 degrees below normal in Salt Lake City.
The weather service says warmer weather is on the way next week.
