SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake police said Thursday a man who was critically injured in a motorcycle crash Monday has died.

A motorcycle and Mazda collided on 200 East near 350 South just before 5:30 p.m. Monday. Police said Chandler Anderson, 28, was riding the motorcycle; he was critically injured in the crash and taken to the hospital.

On Thursday at about 12:45 p.m., Salt Lake police announced Anderson, who was not believed to have been wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, had died.

Police said the Mazda driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
