This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

Nowadays, kitchens tend to function more as a gathering place for families, often acting as extensions of family and entertainment rooms. And as the popularity of kitchens has grown, their décor has become more elaborate ... particularly the cabinets and countertops. For the last five years, Valley View Granite has done its best to fulfill the countertop needs of Utah residents.

Ricky Christensen and his son, Blake, were licensed general contractors in California. They entered the granite industry in 1996. After relocating to Tremonton, they did some market research and discovered a need for countertop fabricators in their area. Blake was planning to work for another fabrication company but instead, he and Ricky decided to start their own company. Thus Valley View Granite was born.

Valley View Granite provides countertop fabrication and installation. With state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, Valley View Granite specializes in granite, engineered stone and marble. Although it's based in Tremonton, the company has delivered its products to Park City, Bountiful and all the way to Rigby, Idaho.

Valley View is housed in a 12,000-square-foot shop on three acres of property. Blake tells me the company directly stocks and imports more than 25 countertop colors on-site. Digital templating allows the Christensens to lay out jobs prior to cutting, so they can visualize the vein flow to ensure the best finished product. Images can also be emailed directly to a client.

The customer is an integral part of the production process, helping with hand selecting the granite as well as the materials for sink edges and faucets. Blake and Ricky both believe in offering only the highest level of personalized customer service, and they strive to make sure Valley View Granite's clients are completely satisfied with their purchases.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
