SALT LAKE CITY — Police are searching for someone who shot and injured another person Friday morning.
A person was reported to have been shot and was found outside a Maverik convenience store at 206 W. North Temple. The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, according to Salt Lake police.
Officers at the scene said they don't believe the shooting happened at the convenience store and they are in the process of determining where the shooting took place. They said the victim, whose name and age were not released, was picked up near 1000 West and 100 South and was dropped off at the Maverik.
Officers are also searching for the shooter.
