SPAIN — While some pets possess a seemingly endless source of energy, cats can be more discreet. They'll lie around for hours, doing nothing more than an occasional stretch and yawn. But it would be a mistake to think this is all your cat will do for the day.
Your cat might suddenly jump 12 feet in the air and then swat a small child, unprompted. Or, it might climb a brick wall and snatch a swooping bird right out of the air.
Yes, cats are a mystery. And they keep their energy under wraps until the time is right.
