MOREHEAD, Ky. — Riley Minix had 20 points and 13 rebounds for one of Morehead State's three double-doubles, Drew Thelwell dished out a program-record 19 assists and the Eagles beat Alice Lloyd 101-39. Thelwell topped the single-game assist record held by Kareem Storey (2013-14) and Jeff Fultz (1983-84). Thelwell came within one of tying the Ohio Valley Conference record, set by Middle Tennessee's James Johnson in 1985-86. Morehead State scored the opening 12 points and led 47-22 at the break after making nine 3-pointers. The Eagles finished 16 of 47 from 3-point range, with six from Kalil Thomas, to reach double-digit 3-pointers for the fifth straight game. Dieonte Miles and Eddie Ricks III also secured double-doubles for the Eagles (9-4), who had a 73-32 edge on the glass.
