ST. GEORGE, Utah — Quinn Denker scored 18 points as Idaho beat Utah Tech 63-62 on Saturday night.

Hamed Olayinka made a pair of free throws for Utah Tech with 1:19 to play that capped the scoring.

Denker shot 7 for 14, including 2 for 6 from beyond the arc for the Vandals (6-4). D'Angelo Minnis added 11 points while going 2 of 9 from the floor, including 2 for 6 from 3-point range, and 5 for 5 from the line. Tyler Linhardt shot 3 for 6, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc to finish with 10 points.

Tanner Christensen finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Trailblazers (5-4). Utah Tech also got 16 points and four assists from Aric Demings. Beon Riley also had 10 points.
