BOONE, N.C. — Led by Tre'Von Spillers' 16 points, the Appalachian State Mountaineers defeated the Oakland City Mighty Oaks 87-49 on Tuesday night. The Mountaineers are now 1-0 with the win and the Mighty Oaks dropped to 0-1.
