SALT LAKE CITY — International superstar Bad Bunny is kicking off his "Most Wanted Tour" in February and his first stop is in Salt Lake City.
It's the first time the Boricua artist, whose real name is Benito Martínez Ocasio, will perform in the Beehive State since 2018. The tour will promote his recently released fifth album "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana."
The reggaeton star will take the stage at the Delta Center on Feb. 21, 2024. Tickets have yet to go on sale, but it might already be too late to get your hands on one.
Preregistration for the tickets ended Sunday night, and fans will receive a notification by Tuesday evening alerting them to whether they will receive a code to join ticket sales or if they've been placed on a waitlist. Registration codes cannot be purchased or transferred, and once sales end, fans will have to rely on resale options for a chance to see el Conejo Malo.
Bad Bunny announced the tour four days ago with an Instagram video in which he appears as a denim-and-fringe-clad outlaw atop a horse. In the clip, he catches a glimpse of wanted posters featuring a photo of a younger Bad Bunny from his early trap music days.
His 2022 hit album "Un Verano Sin Ti," has been described as a love letter to his native Puerto Rico and incorporated a number of Caribbean rhythms and sounds. However, his new album is a return to his roots as the king of Latin trap.
"Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana" became Spotify's most-streamed album in a single day in 2023 on its Oct. 13 release date. It's the star's third consecutive album to debut atop the Billboard 200 Albums chart. Bad Bunny is now behind three of the four all-Spanish language albums to top the chart.
"I hope you can enjoy this album that I did with a lot of work," he expressed on his WhatsApp channel to his more than 16 million followers. "All my projects have been done with lots of love for you, but this album, specifically, is 100% for you like no other."
