THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — The Los Angeles Rams will rely on second-year running back Kyren Williams as their starter after trading Cam Akers to the Minnesota Vikings in a deal finalized on Thursday. Williams, who missed part of his rookie season because of a foot injury that required surgery, has scored four touchdowns through two games this year. Coach Sean McVay said the decision to go with Williams was based on his well-rounded skill set and work ethic. McVay said trading Akers was in the best interest of the Rams
