SALT LAKE CITY — It's time for another weekend of college football.
Utah State kicks off the slate of games this weekend with a Friday night conference matchup on the road against an always difficult Air Force team. Utah State is a 7-point road dog, but a majority of the KSL.com Sports staff believe in the Aggies to get it done against the Falcons. Will the scoring from Week 2 carry over, or was all the offense used last week?
BYU goes on the road for the first time of the season in the return game of a home-and-home series with Arkansas. The Cougars are an 8-point road dog to the Razorbacks, but unlike the Utah State pick, a majority of the KSL.com Sports staff sees a victory for the home team. But a lot will depend on what offense travels to Fayetteville.
As for Utah, it returns home after a 2-0 start against Power Five competition to play a talented FCS opponent in Weber State in the first year since former Utes coach Jay Hill led the Wildcats. Could quarterback Cam Rising get his first action on the field of the 2023?
The other two games feature a Texas brawl between TCU and Houston, and a solid Mountain West team in Fresno State traveling to Tempe, Arizona, with hopes of staying undefeated against Arizona State.
