WHAT CHANNEL? —While the most recent run of realignment may have pushed the timeline forward, there is little doubt that there will be a time when college football will be predominantly viewed via streaming services.
Over the last couple years, TV networks have committed billions of dollars to keep the product on linear TV, and took down a 100-plus-year-old conference in the process (RIP Pac-12).
So the switch to all streaming hasn't come yet. which is apparently good news for the Oklahoma Sooner faithful.
This week, Oklahoma's game against SMIU can only be streamed on ESPN+. Since the Sooners have grown quite accustomed to national TV games, the school made a public service announcement to help some of the older fans.

"Are you over the age of 40 and need help streaming our game on ESPN+?" the PSA spokesman asks. "Well, I have a solution for you. Do as I do: Call a young person."
Simple enough.
Though, not always,
I'm definitely not over 40 and already dreading trying to find the Pac-12 Network to watch next Saturday's Weber State-Utah matchup.
So there's at least one silver lining to the Pac-12 dying.
