SPAIN — Human towers have been around since ancient times. These towers of the past usually consisted of two or three people standing on the shoulders of someone else so they could reach the delicious honey in a beehive high overhead.
And, most of us have seen more modern towers like those constructed by cheerleaders at football games. While impressive, these towers rarely get very high.
For a truly next-level tower, you need to go to Spain. Check out the impressive feat in this clip.
According to the video's description, this took place in Valls, Spain ... with "a base of four people and nine floors, and inside another tower with seven floors."
With all this talk of floors, it's obvious that the "4de9 amb folre i pilar," as it was called, has a lot in common with architecture. Without those proven concepts of stability, I imagine that a tower would never get that high.
