(KSL News) -- An Eyewitness News Investigation identified the problem of registered sex offenders living next door to Utah Schools.
Today, a Utah lawmaker filed legislation that could make them move. Representative Greg Hughes' proposal would force sex offenders to live at least 500-feet away from a school or park, and create a "buffer zone" between the offenders and children.
