SALT LAKE CITY — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday morning in Salt Lake City, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
A driver was killed when his or her car left the roadway in between the guardrail and the I-15 overpass, striking a concrete pillar near Beck Street, UHP trooper Quincy Breur said.
The driver's name has not yet been released.
The crash forced the temporary closure of the ramp between I-15 and U.S. 89 near Beck Street.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation Friday evening, Breur said.
